Eschatology: The Second Coming of Christ.

What an amazing prophecy from the Pen of the Apostle John!

Rev 11:15  At the sound of the seventh trumpet, loud voices were heard in heaven. They said, "Now the kingdom of this world belongs to our Lord and to his Chosen One! And He will rule forever and ever!"

Rev 19:11  I looked and saw that heaven was open, and a white horse was there. Its rider was called Faithful and True, and he is always fair when he judges or goes to war.
Rev 19:12  He had eyes like flames of fire, and he was wearing a lot of crowns. His name was written on him, but he was the only one who knew what the name meant.
Rev 19:13  The rider wore a robe that was covered with blood, and he was known as "The Word of God."
Rev 19:14  He was followed by armies from heaven that rode on horses and were dressed in pure white linen.
Rev 19:15  From his mouth a sharp sword went out to attack the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod and will show the fierce anger of God All-Powerful by trampling the grapes in the pit where wine is made.
Rev 19:16  On the part of the robe that covered his thigh was written, "KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS."

A. The Chronology of The Second Coming.
  1. It begins with fearful manifestations in the skies.

Mat 24:29  Right after those days of suffering, "The sun will become dark, and the moon will no longer shine. The stars will fall, and the powers in the sky will be shaken."

The sun darkened by smoke in Australia

Luk 21:25  Strange things will happen to the sun, moon, and stars. The nations on earth will be afraid of the roaring sea and tides, and they won't know what to do.
Luk 21:26  People will be so frightened that they will faint because of what is happening to the world. Every power in the sky will be shaken.

Ray Comfort's 'Noah—And the Last Days' reached 1 million YouTube views in 23 days.

Ray Comfort's 30-minute Noah—And the Last Days, produced to coincide with Hollywood's controversial Noah, reached 1 million YouTube views in 23 days, this week won a Telly Award and is being aired on 14 major TV networks.
Comfort says, "When I saw that Hollywood had originally listed their version as fantasy, I felt compelled to produce something that would show that the story of Noah is an historical fact, despite what the mockers believe. So we placed it for free viewing on [YouTube] and the reaction has been extremely positive."
Comfort adds that he is encouraged that it has reached 1 million views, by the Telly award and for positive reviews posted on his Facebook page.
"Brilliant stuff. This movie can change the world," Stony Kalango wrote.
"Such an awesome film! A recommended watch!! Thank you Ray for always making the BEST films," said Mike Moore.
"Just now watched it; absolutely fantastic. Loved every minute of it! If I wasn't already in the Family of God this would have got me there!" wrote Melanie S. Charisma News

2. The Heavens open and Jesus comes forth on a White Horse.

Mat 24:30  Then a sign will appear in the sky. And there will be the Son of Man. All nations on earth will weep when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Mat 24:31  At the sound of a loud trumpet, he will send his angels to bring his chosen ones together from all over the earth.
The Return of Christ - THE SECOND COMING
Rev 1:7  Look! He is coming with the clouds. Everyone will see him, even the ones who stuck a sword through him. All people on earth will weep because of him. Yes, it will happen! Amen.

B. The Reasons for the Second Coming of Christ at the End of the tribulation.

  1. To defeat the Antichrist and the nations of the World assembled at Armageddon.

This will be the start of wholesale carnage among the Armies of the Beast. The Glorious appearing will cause trembling and Confusion in the ranks of the soldiers.
Zec 12:2  Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of reeling unto all the peoples round about, and upon Judah also shall it be in the siege against Jerusalem.
Zec 14:13  On that day a large-scale panic from the LORD will spread among them. One person will grab the hand of another, and one will attack the other.

The desertions will be so great that antichrist will be abandoned and rendered powerless.
2Th 2:8  and then the Lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will sweep away with the tempest of His anger, and utterly overwhelm by the awful splendour of His Coming.

There will be such a brilliant Light from heaven that it will produced astonishment and Blindness in animals and madness in men
Zec 12:4  The LORD declares, "On that day I will strike every horse with panic and every rider with madness. I will watch over the people of Judah, but I will strike all the horses of the nations blind.

The bodies of men and animals will rot where they stand. Just like Ebola or Atomic Radiation.
Zec 14:12  This will be the plague the LORD will use to strike all the people from the nations that have gone to war against Jerusalem. Their flesh will rot while they are standing on their feet. Their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths.
Zec 14:15  A similar plague will also affect horses, mules, camels, donkeys, and all other animals in those camps.

The blood of the animals and men will form a river 200 miles long and bridle deep.
Rev 14:19  The angel swung his sickle on the earth and gathered the grapes from the vine of the earth. He threw them into the winepress of God's anger.
Rev 14:20  The grapes were trampled in the winepress outside the city. Blood flowed out of the winepress as high as a horse's bridle for 1,600 stadia.

The stench of the rotting mass of flesh will fill the entire region.
Isa 34:1  Come close, you nations, and listen. Pay attention, you people. The earth, everyone in it, the world, and everything on it will listen.
Isa 34:2  The LORD is angry with all the nations. He is furious with all their armies. He has claimed them for destruction. He has handed them over to be slaughtered.
Isa 34:3  Their dead bodies will be thrown out. A stench will rise from their corpses. Mountains will be red with their blood.

This will provide a feast for vultures and carrion birds.
Rev 19:17  I saw an angel standing in the sun. He cried out in a loud voice to all the birds flying overhead, "Come! Gather for the great banquet of God.
Rev 19:18  Eat the flesh of kings, generals, warriors, horses and their riders, and all free people and slaves, both important or insignificant people."
Rev 19:19  I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies gathered to wage war against the rider on the horse and his army.
Rev 19:20  The beast and the false prophet who had done miracles for the beast were captured. By these miracles the false prophet had deceived those who had the brand of the beast and worshiped its statue. Both of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.
Rev 19:21  The rider on the horse killed the rest with the sword that came out of his mouth. All the birds gorged themselves on the flesh of those who had been killed.

The Beast and the false prophet were thrown into the Lake of Fire forever.

Rev 19:20  The beast and the false prophet who had done miracles for the beast were captured. By these miracles the false prophet had deceived those who had the brand of the beast and worshiped its statue. Both of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.

    2. To Regather and  Restore Faithful Israel.

One of the most frequent promises of the Old testament is the eventual Restoration of Israel. It was the prophets refrain or chorus.
Isa 43:5  Do not be afraid, because I am with you. I will bring your descendants from the east and gather you from the west.
Isa 43:6  I will say to the north, "Give them up," and to the south, "Do not keep them." Bring my sons from far away and my daughters from the ends of the earth.

Isa_51:11 Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

Jews Returning with Great Joy
Jer 24:6  I will watch over them for their own good, and I will bring them back to this land. I will build them up and not tear them down. I will plant them and not uproot them.

Eze 11:17  "So tell them, 'This is what the Almighty LORD says: I will bring them together from the nations and gather them from the countries where I've scattered them. I will give them the land of Israel.

Probably the most amazing song of Praise is from Micah :
Mic 7:18  Who is a God like you? You forgive sin and overlook the rebellion of your faithful people. You will not be angry forever, because you would rather show mercy.
Mic 7:19  You will again have compassion on us. You will overcome our wrongdoing. You will throw all our sins into the deep sea.

Jesus, Himself, spoke of this in one of his last Sermons before the Crucifixion.
Mat 24:32  "Learn from the story of the fig tree. When its branch becomes tender and it sprouts leaves, you know that summer is near.
Mat 24:33  In the same way, when you see all these things, you know that he is near, at the door.
Mat 24:34  "I can guarantee this truth: This generation will not disappear until all these things take place.

  1. A Time of temporary sorrow.
Zec 12:10  "I will pour out the Spirit of blessing and mercy on David's family and on those who live in Jerusalem. They will look at me, whom they have stabbed. Then they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only son, and they will cry bitterly for him as one cries for a firstborn son.
Zec 12:11  On that day the mourning in Jerusalem will be as intense as the mourning at Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo.

Zec 13:6  And one shall say to him, What are these wounds in your hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of those who love Me.

Rev 1:7  Behold, He comes with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, and those who pierced Him will see Him, and all the kindreds of the earth will wail because of Him. Even so, Amen.

  1. A Time of Ultimate Joy
Isa 25:8  He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord Jehovah will wipe away tears from all faces. And He shall take away from all the earth the rebuke of His people. For Jehovah has spoken.
Isa 25:9  And one shall say in that day, Lo, this is our God. We have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is Jehovah; we have waited for Him, we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation.

Isa 43:25  I, I am He who blots out your sins for My own sake, and will not remember your sins.

Isa 51:3  For Jehovah shall comfort Zion; He will comfort all her waste places; and He will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of Jehovah. Joy and gladness shall be found in it, thanksgiving and the voice of melody.

Isa 55:12  For you shall go out with joy, and be led out with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break out before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

3. To Judge and punish faithless Israels

The Apostle Paul writes in the Book of Romans:
Rom 11:26  And so all Israel shall be saved; as it is written, "There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer, and He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob.

Rom 9:6  Not however that the Word of God has failed, for not all those of Israel are Israel;
Today amazingly 80% of the Jews in Israel are secular. Many have no faith at all and blame God for all that has happened. This is faithless Israel

God will be especially gracious to the true Israel and especially harsh will the false Israel.
Israel today is a thriving country
Note her sins:
  1. Against the Father in heaven.Num 14:22  Because all those men who have seen My glory and My miracles which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted Me now these ten times, and have not listened to My voice,
Num 14:23  surely they shall not see the land which I swore to their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked Me see it.
Num 14:24  But My servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and has followed Me fully, I will bring him into the land into which he went. And his seed shall possess it.
  1. Against the Son of God.
Joh 1:10  He was in the world, and the world came into being through Him, and the world did not know Him.
Joh 1:11  He came to His own, and His own received Him not.
Joh 1:12  But as many as received Him, He gave to them authority to become the children of God, to those who believe on His name,
Faithless Israel Crucified the Son of God.
Act 2:22  "Listen, Israelites, to what I say. Jesus, the Nazarene, a man accredited to you from God by miracles and marvels and signs which God did among you through Him, as you yourselves know, Him--
Act 2:23  delivered up through God's settled purpose and foreknowledge--you by the hands of Gentiles have nailed to a cross and have put to death.
Act 2:24  But God has raised Him to life, having terminated the throes of death, for in fact it was not possible for Him to be held fast by death.
Act 2:25  For David says in reference to Him, "'I CONSTANTLY FIXED MY EYES UPON THE LORD, BECAUSE HE IS AT MY RIGHT HAND IN ORDER THAT I MAY CONTINUE UNSHAKEN.
The Galilee

  1. Her sins against the Holy Spirit - stubborn resistance.
Act 7:51  "O stiff-necked men, uncircumcised in heart and ears, you also are continually at strife with the Holy Spirit--just as your forefathers were.

d. Her sin against the Kingdom of God.
She refused to use her God given Abilities to promote the Kingdom of God.
Jesus said Mat 25:24  "But, next, the man who had the one talent in his keeping came and said, "'Sir, I knew you to be a severe man, reaping where you had not sown and garnering what you had not winnowed.
Mat 25:25  So being afraid I went and buried your talent in the ground: there you have what belongs to you.'
Mat 25:26  "'You wicked and slothful servant,' replied his master, 'did you know that I reap where I have not sown, and garner what I have not winnowed?
Mat 25:27  Your duty then was to deposit my money in some bank, and so when I came I should have got back my property with interest.
Mat 25:28  So take away the talent from him, and give it to the man who has the ten.'
Mat 25:29  (For to every one who has, more shall be given, and he shall have abundance; but from him who has nothing, even what he has shall be taken away.)
Mat 25:30  'But as for this worthless servant, put him out into the darkness outside: *there* will be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.'
Luk 19:20  "The next came. "'Sir,' he said, 'here is your pound, which I have kept wrapt up in a cloth.
Luk 19:21  For I was afraid of you, because you are a severe man: you take up what you did not lay down, and you reap what you did not sow.'
Luk 19:22  "'By your own words,' he replied, 'I will judge you, you bad servant. You knew me to be a severe man, taking up what I did not lay down, and reaping what I did not sow:
Luk 19:23  why then did you not put my money into a bank, that when I came I might have received it back with interest?

Luk 19:24  "And he said to those who stood by, "'Take the pound from him and give it to him who has the ten pounds.'
