Supernatural Evidence that the Word of God is what it says it is.
One of the Proofs of any religion is its ability to accurately predict the future. The prophet Isaiah said, Isa 41:22 Let them bring them out, and tell us what shall happen; let them reveal the former things, what they are, that we may look on them and know the final end of them; or declare to us things to come.
Isa 41:23 Reveal the near things after this, so that we may know that you are gods. Yes, do good, or do evil, so that we may be amazed and see together.
We will now consider the amazing accuracy of the Prophecies of Scripture.
Prophecies dealing with the Nation of Israel.
Israel would become a great nation.
Gen 12:1 And Jehovah said to Abram, Go out of your country, and from your kindred, and from your father's house into a land that I will show you.
Gen 12:2 And I will make you a great nation. And I will bless you and make your name great. And you shall be a blessing.
Gen 12:3 And I will bless those that bless you and curse the one who curses you. And in you shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Her Kings would come out of the tribe of Judah.
Gen 49:10 A scepter will never depart from Judah nor a ruler's staff from between his feet until Shiloh comes and the people obey him.

She would spend 400 years in Egypt.
Gen 15:13 God said to Abram, "You can know for sure that your descendants will live in a land that is not their own, where they will be slaves, and they will be oppressed for 400 years.
Exo 12:41 And it came to pass at the end of four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.

The Nation would suffer civil war.
1Ki 11:29 And it came to pass at that time, when Jeroboam went out of Jerusalem, that the prophet Ahijah the Shilonite found him in the way; now Ahijah had clad himself with a new garment; and they two were alone in the field.
1Ki 11:30 And Ahijah laid hold of the new garment that was on him, and rent it in twelve pieces.
1Ki 11:31 And he said to Jeroboam, Take thee ten pieces: for thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, Behold, I will rend the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and will give ten tribes to thee:
1Ki 11:32 (but he shall have one tribe, for my servant David's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake, the city which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel:)
The Nation would spend 70 years in Babylon.
Jer 25:11 And this whole land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.
Jer 25:12 And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, that I will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation, saith the LORD, for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans; and I will make it desolate for ever.
Jer 29:10 For thus saith the LORD, After seventy years be accomplished for Babylon, I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.
She would return [in part] to Jerusalem after 70 years in Babylon.
Dan 9:1 Xerxes' son Darius, who was a Mede by birth, was made ruler of the kingdom of Babylon.
Dan 9:2 In the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, learned from the Scriptures the number of years that Jerusalem would remain in ruins. The LORD had told the prophet Jeremiah that Jerusalem would remain in ruins for 70 years.
THE FIRST PEOPLE TO RETURN FROM THE CAPTIVITY
Ezr 1:1 The promise the LORD had spoken through Jeremiah was about to come true in Cyrus' first year as king of Persia. The LORD inspired the king to make this announcement throughout his whole kingdom and then to put it in writing.
Ezr 1:2 This is what King Cyrus of Persia says: The LORD God of heaven has given me all the kingdoms of the world. Then he ordered me to build a temple for him in Jerusalem (which is in Judah).
Ezr 1:3 May God be with all of you who are his people. You may go to Jerusalem (which is in Judah) and build a temple for the LORD God of Israel. He is the God who is in Jerusalem.
Ezr 1:4 All who choose to remain behind, wherever they may be living, should provide the people who are leaving with silver, gold, supplies, livestock, and freewill offerings to be used in God's temple in Jerusalem.
Ezr 1:5 Then the heads of the families of Judah and Benjamin, the priests, and the Levites-everyone God had inspired-came forward to rebuild the LORD'S temple in Jerusalem.
Israel would eventually be scattered among the nations.
Deu 28:25 The LORD will let your enemies defeat you. You will attack them from one direction but run away from them in seven directions. You will become a thing of horror to all the kingdoms in the world.
Deu 28:64 Then the LORD will scatter you among all the people of the world, from one end of the earth to the other. There, you will serve gods made of wood and stone that neither you nor your ancestors ever knew.
Israel would be Hounded and Persecuted.
Deu 28:65 Among those nations you will find no peace, no place to call your own. There the LORD will give you an unsettled mind, failing eyesight, and despair.
Deu 28:66 Your life will always be hanging by a thread. You will live in terror day and night. You will never feel sure of your life.
Deu 28:67 In the morning you'll say, "If only it were evening!" And in the evening you'll say, "If only it were morning!" You'll talk this way because of the things that will terrify you and because of the things you'll see.

Israel would always retain her identity.
Lev 26:44 Even when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them or look at them with disgust. I will not reject or cancel my promise to them, because I am the LORD their God.
Lev 26:45 But for their sake, I will remember the promise to their ancestors. I brought them out of Egypt to be their God while nations looked on. I am the LORD."
Jer 46:27 "Don't be afraid, my servant Jacob. Don't be terrified, Israel. I'm going to rescue you and your descendants from a faraway land, from the land where you are captives. Then Jacob's descendants will again have undisturbed peace, and no one will make them afraid.
Jer 46:28 Don't be afraid, my servant Jacob," declares the LORD. "I am with you. I will completely destroy all the nations where I scattered you, but I will not completely destroy you. I will correct you with justice. I won't let you go entirely unpunished."
Israel would reject her Messiah. Isaiah 53
Isa 53:3 He is despised and rejected of men; a Man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and as it were a hiding of faces from Him, He being despised, and we esteemed Him not.
Isa 53:4 Surely He has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
Isa 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions; He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on Him; and with His stripes we ourselves are healed.
Isa 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, each one to his own way; and Jehovah has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
Because of this enemies would dwell in the land.
Lev 26:31 And I will make your cities waste and cause your sanctuaries to be deserted. And I will not smell the savor of your sweet odors.
Lev 26:32 And I will turn the land into wasteland. And your enemies who dwell in it shall be astonished at it.
Luk 21:24 And they shall fall by the sword's edge. And shall be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem shall be trodden down by the nations until the times of the nations is fulfilled.

Jerusalem would be destroyed.
Luk 19:41 And as He drew near, He beheld the city and wept over it,
Luk 19:42 saying, If you had known, even you, even at least in this day of yours, the things for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.
Luk 19:43 For the days will come on you that your enemies will raise up a rampart to you, and will surround you, and will keep you in on every side.
Luk 19:44 And they will tear you down, and your children within you, and will not leave a stone on a stone because you did not know the time of your visitation.
Luk 21:20 And when you see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that its destruction has come.
The Siege of Jerusalem in 70 AD was the decisive event of the First Jewish–Roman War. The Roman army, led by the future Emperor Titus, with Tiberius Julius Alexander as his second-in-command, besieged and conquered the city of Jerusalem, which had been occupied by its Jewish defenders in 66 AD.
The siege ended with the sacking of the city and the destruction of its famous Second Temple. The destruction of both the firstand second temples is still mourned annually as the Jewish fast Tisha B'Av. Israel would return to the Land in the latter days prior to the Second Coming of Christ.
Deu 30:3 then Jehovah your God will turn your captivity. And He will have compassion on you, and will return and gather you from all the nations where Jehovah your God has scattered you.
Eze 36:24 For I will take you from among the nations and gather you out of all lands, and will gather you into your own land.
Eze 37:1 The hand of Jehovah was on me, and brought me by the Spirit of Jehovah, and made me rest in the midst of a valley, and it was full of bones.

In the latter years you shall come into the land turned back from the sword, gathered out of many peoples, on the mountains of Israel, which have always been waste.
